Varietas padi unggul toleran rendaman sangat diperlukan untuk mengantisipasi genangan air dalarn, terutarna di Jahan lebak. ini dilaksanakan di lahan lebak tengahan. Desa Sungai Kupang (Tawar), Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Selatan, Kalirnantan Selatan pada musim hujan 2006/2007. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk rnengidentifikasi galur padi yang tokran rendarnan dan daya 127 hasil yang tinggi di lahan lebak tengahan. Sebanyak 22 genotipe padi (13 galur dan sembilan varietas unggul) ditanam pada petak percobaan berukuran 2 m x 5 m yang ditata sesuai dengan rancangan acak kelompok berulangan tiga kali- Pengamatan dilakukan terhadap variabel toleransi rendaman, tinggi permukaan air, analisis air dan tingkat kekeruhannya, tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan, panjang dan diameter ruas batang, serta hasil dan komponen hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada ketinggian air maksimum sekitar 140 cm, kualitas air relatjfjelek, dan tingkat kekeruhan 30-35 cm, galurWAR115. 1-2-4-2•4-B-B-4 lebih toleran rendarnan dibandingkan dengan galur dan varietas unggul lainnya. Di antara varietas unggul, Tapus (padi air dalam) merupakan varietas yang paling toleran, sedangkan varietas IR42 adalah varietas yang paling sensitif. Hasil gabah kering panen galur WARI 15-1-2-4-2-4-B-B-4 (5,09 Vha) lebih tinggi daripada hasil gabah Tapus (4,84 Vha). Galur ini disarankan untuk diuji lebih lanjut pada pengujian multilokasi.
Abstract
Performance of WAR 115-1-2-4-2-4-B-B-4. Tolerant Rice Line under Middle Monotonous Swampland Condition in South Kalimantan Availability of submergence tolerant rice line having high yield potential is needed to anticipate deep water conditions, especially at monotonous swampland. A field experiment to find out tolerant rice line aryl high yielded rice line was in a Completely Design with three replications. It was carried out under the middle monotonous swampland in Sungai Kupang, Hulu Sungai Selatan, South Kalirnantan during the WS of 2Ø6/2007. Twenty-two rice genotypes consisted of 13 rice lines and nine s were planted in the 2 m x 5 m plots. The observation was done submergence tolerant. the water depth, muddy water intensity, plant height, tillering ability, inter. node length and diameter, and yield component and grain yield. water depth about 140 cm. poor water quality, and muddy water intensity between 30-40 cm. Result showed that water depth about 140 CITI, poor water quality, and muddy water intensity between 30-40 cm conditions, WAR 15-1-2-4-2-4-B-B-4 line appeared more than other lines and s. Among HYV s, Tapus (as deep-water rice) showed more tolerant, while IR42 was rates as a sensitive cultivar. The grain yield of WAR 15-1-2-4-2-4-B-B-4 line (5. W t/ha) was significantly higher than Tapus (4.84 t/ha). This line is expected to be involved in the multilocation and/or multiyear trial.
