Sugarcane planter in the combination of fertilizer applicator and drip irrigation pipe installer is one of the innovation in agricultural mechanization. In field operation, the implement pulled by a four-wheel tractor. The purpose of this study was to desain and conduct the performance test of sugarcane planter in the combination of fertilizer applicator and drip irrigation pipe installer. Working principle of the implement is to utilize the implement wheel rotation and the power take off (PTO) of the tractor to drive the cutting blade of sugarcane stems by feeding it into the cutting section precisely using a gear transmission system. The performance test results obtained that the implement was operated with a planting speed of 2.33 km/hr, planted the seeds of 19.30 cm from the soil surface, and depth of a drip irrigation pipe installation was 22.3 cm. Utilization of sugarcane seeds was 6.5 ton/ha with a seedling length of 38.5 cm and the percentage of bud damage was 4.17%. The percentage of seedlings not embedded (missing hill) was 17.33% and fertilizer application was 308.31 kg/ha. This machine resulted in sugarcane seedling capacity of 3,68 hr/ha with a planting efficiency of 62.68%.DESAIN DAN UJI KINERJA MESIN TANAM TEBU KOMBINASI PEMUPUKAN DAN PEMASANG PIPA IRIGASI TETESAbstrakMesin penanam tebu kombinasi pemupukan dan pemasang pipa irigasi tetes merupakan salah satu inovasi di bidang mekaniasasi pertanian berupa alat penanam benih tebu yang ditarik traktor roda empat. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk mendesain dan melakukan uji kinerja mesin tanam tebu kombinasi pemupukan dan pemasang pipa irigasi tetes. Alat ini di rekayasa dengan memanfaatkan putaran roda implemen dan putaran power take off (PTO) dari traktor untuk menggerakkan pisau pemotong benih. Batang benih tebu dimasukkan melalui bagian pengumpan secara presisi dengan sistem transmisi roda gigi. Hasil uji kinerja dengan pengoperasikan mesin pada kecepatan 2,33 km/jam, benih yang tertanam pada kedalaman 19,30 cm, sedangkan kedalaman peletakan saluran pipa irigasi tetes yaitu pada kedalaman 22,3 cm. Penggunaan benih 6,5 ton/ha dengan panjang potongan benih 38,5 cm dan prosentase kerusakan mata tunas 4,17%. Prosentase benih tidak tertanam (missing hill) sebesar 17,33% dan penggunaan pupuk 308,31 kg/ha. Mesin ini memiliki kapasitas penanaman benih tebu 3,68 jam/ha dengan effisiensi penanaman sebesar 62,68%.
