dc.description.abstractAssessment of Introduction Technology of Kangkung Caltivation in Kampar Regency, Riau Province. Dahono. Kampar Regency is one of the central production of vegetables such as spinach, kangkung, egg plant, cucumber, squash, hot pepper, string beans, chinese cabbage, and bitter melon. The cultivation of those vegetables usually use very high dosage of fertilizers and pesticides. The assessment using low dosages of fertilizers (introduction I, Il and farmer?s technology) was conducted with 3 replications. Results of the assessment showed that introduction I technology using net as a shading did not increase plant height and leaf production. The net income from this technology was only Rp.330,864,. The highest production was obtained from the introduction II technology with the net income of Rp. 910,800,- and R/C ratio of 1.74.
