dc.description.abstractAbstract Has conducted field research Effect of cropping systems and kinds of organic matter on growth and yield of upland rice in 2014 in the district MH Tandun, Riau. Land is land with soil type ultisol. In climatological locations including climate type B1 (Oldeman), of which 9 months in a row is a wet month (CH>200 mm) and less than 3 consecutive dry months. (CH <100 mm). The aim of research to study the effect of cropping systems and forms of organic matter on growth and yield of upland rice. The study is based on a randomized block design of two factors. I was Fertilizers K factor consists of 1). 50 kg/ha 2), 75 kg/ha and 3). 100 kg/ha. Kinds of organic materials as a factor II, which consists of 1), Mukuna, 2). Flamengia, 3) The rest of the corn plant. and 4). Cow dung. The results showed there was an interaction between cropping systems and kinds of organic materials to the productive tiller number and yield of upland rice. Combination treatment of 75 kg K per hectare with manure gives the highest yield (5.7 t/ha). Fertilizer K also affect plant height and number of tillers. The dosage of fertilizer application K to 75 kg/ha gave plant height and number of tillers best. While the kind of organic material effect on plant height, number of tillers, and results. The organic material is cow dung provides plant height, number of tillers, and the best results compared to other organic materials. Abstrak Telah dilaksanakan penelitian lapang Pengaruh sistem tanam dan macam bahan organik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil padi gogo pada MH 2014 di Kecamatan Tandun, Riau. Tanah merupakan lahan dengan jenis tanah ultisol. Secara Klimatologis lokasi termasuk tipe iklim B1 (Oldeman), dimana 9 bulan berturut-turut merupakan bulan basah (CH > 200 mm) dan kurang dari 3 bulan kering berturut-turut. (CH <100 mm). Tujuan penelitian untuk mempelajari pengaruh sistem tanam dan bentuk bahan organik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil padi gogo. Penelitian disusun berdasarkan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dua factor. Fakto I adalah Pupuk K terdiri dari 1). 50 kg/ha 2), 75 kg/ha dan 3). 100 kg/ha. Macam bahan organik sebagai factor II, yang terdiri dari 1), Mukuna, 2). Flamengia, 3) Sisa tanaman jagung. dan 4). kotoran sapi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat interaksi antara sistem tanam dan macam bahan organik terhadap jumlah anakan produktif dan hasil padi gogo. Kombinasi perlakuan 75 kg K per hektar dengan kotoran sapi memberikan hasil tertinggi (5,7 t/ha). Pemberian pupuk K juga berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman dan jumlah anakan. Pemberian pupuk K dengan Takaran 75 kg/ha memberikan tinggi tanaman dan jumlah anakan terbaik. Sedangkan macam bahan organik berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan, dan hasil. Bahan organik kotoran sapi memberikan tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan, dan hasil terbaik dibanding bahan organik lainnya.
