Till the end of the 18 th century Indonesia had been the main clove producing and exporting country. The increasing clove demand, particularly for kretek cigarette industries the beginning of the 20 th century converted Indonesia to the greatest clove importing country Indonesia, however still plays the role of clove business and the country of clove origine that has brought clove to the raw material for kretek cigarettes consumed by millions the population. The fluctuation of the clove product has been the couse of the instability supply of clove for cigarette industries. One way out lesson the product fluctuation is to improve cultural technique. Fertilizing with appropriate dose and time, using high gulding seeds, and plant protection are fairly recommended
