dc.description.abstractAbstrak Sejumlah galur padi sawah dataran tinggi toleran suhu rendah telah dievaluasi keragaan dan daya hasilnya. Percobaan dilaksanakan pada MK tahun 2013 di lahan petani dataran tinggi Bayongbong, Kabupaten Garut, Jawa Barat. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan percobaan acak kelompok 3 ulangan dengan perlakuan 16 galur padi dataran tinggi toleran suhu rendah dan 4 varietas pembanding yaitu Inpari 28 Kerinci, Sarinah, Batang Piaman, dan Inpari 21 Batipuah. Bibit umur 21 hari hari setelah sebar dari setiap galur ditanam satu bibit per lubang pada plot berukuran 4 m x 5 m dan jarak tanam 25 cm x 25 cm. Pemeliharaan tanaman dilakukan secara intensif berdasarkan rekomendasi budidaya padi sawah. Pengujian dilakukan pada lahan sawah dataran tinggi dengan cekaman suhu rendah (<21°C). Hasil percobaan diperoleh sebanyak 5 galur yang menunjukkan hasil lebih tinggi daripada varietas pembanding Inpari 28 Kerinci, Sarinah, Batang Piaman, dan Inpari 21 Batipuah. Galur-galur tersebut adalah BP14022-10B-GRT-2-3-1-4 (5,04 ton/ha), BP13990-1B-GRT-3-2-2-2-SKBM-1 (4,33 ton/ha), dan BP13990-4B-GRT-3-1-2-5-3 (4,28 ton/ha), BP14022-10B-GRT-2-3-7-2 (4,23 ton/ha), dan BP14022-10B-GRT-2-3-7-4 (4,44 ton/ha). Varietas pembanding Inpari 28 Kerinci, Sarinah, Batang Piaman, dan Inpari 21 Batipuah termasuk kategori varietas anjuran di dataran tinggi. Abstract Some lines of high elevation area rice and low temperature tolerance have been evaluated in its performance and productivity. The experiment was conducted during the Dry Season 2013 in farmer’s fields Bayongbong plateau, Garut, West Java. The research uses a randomized experimental design with three replications and 16 treatments upland rice lines tolerant to low temperatures and 4 check varieties. Seed age of 21 days after sowing of the seeds planted each strain per hole on a plot measuring 4 mx 5 m and a spacing of 25 cm x 25 cm. Plant maintenance done on the recommendation of intensive rice cultivation. Tests carried out on rice fields with stress plateau low temperature (<21° C). The experimental results obtained by 5 strains showed higher yield than the check varieties Inpari 28 Kerinci, Sarinah, Batang Piaman, and Inpari 21 Batipuah. These lines are BP14022-108-GRT-2-3-1-4 (5.04 ton/ha), BP13990-1B-GRT-3-2-2-2-SKBM-1 (4,33 ton/ha). dan BP13990-4B-GRT-3-1-2-5-3 (4.28 ton/ha), BP14022-10B-GRT-2-3-7-2 (4,23 ton/ha), dan BP14022-10B-GRT-2-3-7-4 (4,44 ton/ha). Check varieties Inpari 28 Kerinci, Sarinah, Batang Piaman, and Inpari 21 Batipuah including categories recommended varieties in the high elevation areas.
