Abstract
Land has an important role and function in community life, with increasing population growth and economic and industrial development resulting in degradation, conversion and fragmentation of food agricultural land which has threatened the regional carrying capacity nationally in maintaining food independence, resilience and sovereignty. Agrarian reform which concerns the restructuring of control, ownership, use and utilization of agrarian resources requires sustainable protection of agricultural food land, therefore, the Law on Sustainable Food Agricultural Land Protection was formed. Along with the development of investment, issued the Job Creation Law which changes several provisions related to the Conversion of Sustainable Food Agricultural Land, thus forming new challenges in the Protection of Sustainable Food Agricultural Land.
