| dc.description | This study aims to determine the effect of compost fertilizer dosage and watering interval on the growth and production of Odot grass (P. purpereum cv Mott) in the semi arid region. The design used was Completely Randomized factorial design with 3 x 3 with 3 replications. The dosage of compost fertilizer (D) as factor A: D0 (control); D1 (5 tons / ha); and D2 (10 tons / ha) and the watering interval (I) as factor B: I0 (control); I1 (watering every 2 days as much as 4 liters / m2); and I2 (watering every 4 days as much as 4 liters / m2). Parameters that observed ware plant height, number of tillers, production of fresh and dry matter. The results of this research indicate that that interaction have a very significant effect (P˂0,01) on production of fresh and dry matter; have a significant effect (P˂0,05) on plant height; but there is no significant effect on number of tillers. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pemupukan pupuk kompos dan interval penyiraman terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi rumput gajah Odot (P. purpereum cv Mott) di daerah semi arid. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial 3 x 3 dengan 3 ulangan. Dosis pupuk kompos (D) sebagai faktor A: D0 (kontrol); D1 (5 ton/ha); dan D2 (10 ton/ha) dan interval penyiraman (I) sebagai faktor B: I0 (kontrol); I2 (siram 2 hari sekali 4 liter/m2); dan I2 (siram 4 hari sekali 4 liter/m2). Parameter yang diamati tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan, produksi bahan segar dan bahan kering. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa interaksi berpengaruh sangat nyata (P˂0,01) terhadap produksi bahan segar dan produksi bahan kering; berpengaruh nyata (P˂0,01) terhadap tinggi tanaman; dan tidak berpengaruh terhadap jumlah rumput gajah Odot (P. purpereum cv Mott). | en_US |
