Abstract
Abstrak Penelitian iri bertujuan kotelasi di antara karakter dengan menggunakan koefisien lintas. Penelitan ini dilaksanakan di Lorrbok NTB pada MH 2Ø6 dan di Kabupaten Magelang. Jawa Tengah pada MK 2007 dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok, tiga ulangan. Sepuluh galur tahan tungro dengan vanetas Tukad Unda, Tukad Balian. Kalirnas, dan Ciherang, rnasing-rnasing ditanarn dengan luas petak 4 m x 5 m, jarak tanam 25 cm x 25 cm. Karakter yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan rnaximum, jumlah malai/m2, gabah isi. berat 1.000 biji, dan hasil gabah kering giling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa koefisien korelasi dan pengaruh langsung jumlah malai/rn2, persentase gabah isi, dan berat 1.000 biji terhadap hasil bemilai paling besar bila dibandingkan dengan karakter yang lain, sehingga kedua karakter tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai kriteria seleksi yang baik untuk mendapatkan galur yang berpotensi hasil tinggi. Abstract The Relationship between the Yield and the Yield Component of Breeding Line Resistant to Tungro. The research was conducted to study the phenotypic relationship among characters using path coefficient analysis. The field experiment was conducted in Lombok Tengah, NTB during the of 2006/2007 and in Magelang, Central Java, during DS Of 2007 using a Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) with three replications. The rice genotypes tested were IO virus tungro resistant lines and 4 check varieties (Tukad Unda, Tukad Balian, Kalimas, and Ciherang). The genotypes were planted in plots of 4 m x 5 m in size with plant spacing of 25 cm X 25 cm. Agronomic characters were observed for plant height, number of spikelet/m3 filled grain, 1,000 grain weight, and grain yield at of moisture content. The result showed that correlation coefficient and direct effect on the number of spikelet/m3, filled gain, and I ,000 grain weight were the highest as compared to the other characters. grain weight was the highest as compared to the other characters. These characters can be used as a good selection criterion to identify high yielding line
