Management & Control StrategiesIntegrated Control: Combining sanitation, agricultural practices, quarantine enforcement, and systemic/non-systemic fungicide applications. Resistant Varieties: Breeding and selecting resistant varieties (such as local Tall cultivars) is considered the most promising long-term solution. Quarantine Procedures: Enforcing strict quarantine measures to prevent the spread of lethal diseases of unknown etiology to disease-free areas.
