- ItemIsozyme Variation of Duku (Lansium Domesticum Corr.) ‘Turak’ And ‘Gondok’ From Kuantan Singingi Regency(IAARD Press, 2012-12) Damyanti ...[at al], Ade; Balai Besar Penelitian dan Pengembangan Bioteknologi dan Sumberdaya Genetik PertanianDuku of Kuantan Singingi Regency is known by local society called duku ‘Turak’ has the uniqueness on the oval shape and necked like betel nut, which has sweet taste similar to round duku. It has thick skin, so that not easily to break and not quickly to get rotten. This duku was preferred by people than the round shaped called duku ‘Gondok’. However, the informations about the potential of duku “Turak” has not been known widely by public yet. The aims of this study was to compare isozymes characteristics duku (L. domesticum Corr.) ‘Turak’ and ‘Gondok’ that growing in Kuantan Singingi Regency. The analyses were performed using 4 isozymes, namely esterase isozyme, Acid phosphatase (ACP) isozyme, aspartate aminotransferase (AAT) isozyme and Peroxidase isozyme. The result showed the variations of isozymes banding pattern, there are two bands from Esterase isozyme, eight bands from ACP and a band from AAT. However, Peroksidase isozyme showed no variation of banding pattern. Similarity coefficient value based on isozymes character was about 0.29-1.00.
