dc.description | Abstrak. Upaya menguji efisiensi penggunaan hormon untuk induksi akar dan penerapan teknologi perbanyakan bibit salak secara cangkok di sentra produksi salak Kabupaten Malang, Pasuruan. dan Karangasern (Bali) di Lakukan menggunak.an metode penelitian adaptif di kebun petani. Penelitian melibatkan kerja sama aktif antara peneliti dan petani, sejak persiapan pencangkokan hmgga panen bibit salak. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan Aaustus 1995 hingga Maret 1996. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan rakitan teknologi pembibitan salak secara cangkok menggunakan limbah bawang merah takaran 75 g per cangkok untuk induksi akar dapat meningkatkan keberhasilan cangkok sebesar 10% dibandingkan menggunakan induksi akar IBA 1.000 ppm takaran 7,5 ml per cangkok. Pada saat harga bawang merah Rp.1.000 per kg dan harga IBA Rp.20.000,- per g, keuntungan dari penerapan teknologi dengan limbah bawang merah dapat menekan biaya bibit cangkok sebesar 28%. Setelah petani melihat cara pelaksanaan mencangkok tunas anakan salak dan kemudian melaksanakan pencangkokan sendiri, ternyata tingkat keberhasilan cangkok tidak berbeda dengan hasil yang dilaksanakan oleh peneliti, yakni mencapai 61% cangkok jadi.Tingkat keberhasilan cangkok yang dilakukan oleh petani yang pernah mencangkok lebih tinggi dari pada petani yang baru melihat atau mendengar cara mencangkok tunas anakan salak. Tingkat keberhasilan cangkok pada pohon salak umur 5-15 tahun lebih tinggi dari pada salak umur di atas 15 tahun. Luas pemilikan kebun salak berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan cangkok, tetapi tingkat pendidikan dan umur petani salak serta jumlah cangkokan per pohon tidak berpengaruh.ABSTRAC'T, The application of technology on marcotting propagation of salacea. Adaptive research, on salacca propagation technique was done at farmer's field to evaluate the efficiency of the use of root induction, and to introduction salacca propagation using marcotting method to farmers in the salacca production center in Malang. Pasuruan. and Karangasem The research involved an active participation of farmers in all activities, from the preparation to the harvest of marcotting, from August 1995 to March 1996 The results showed that the use of discarded shallot at 75g 'in each marcotting increased the success of marcotting by 10% compared to the use of 100 ppm IBA at 7.5 ml, while the price or discarded shallot was Rp. 1000.-/kg and IBA was Rp. 20.000.-/g. therefore the use of discarded shallot reduced the marcotting cost by 28%. Farmers adopted the technology readily, as indicated by 61% of successful marcotting which was not much different to the results obtained by researchers The rate of succes of farmers who had experienced in marcotting practice was higher than those who unexperienced. The rate of success in marcotting of 5 to 15 years old plants was higher then those of more than 15 years. Size Of land ownership had a significant influence to the success of marcotting, while the number of marcotted sucker per plant, the education and the age of farmers had no Influence on the marcotting success. | en-US |
