Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gulma yang mendominasi dan keanekaragaman gulma yang tumbuh pada areal pertanaman jagung (Zea mays L.) saat fase generatif, serta rekomendasi pengendaliannya di Kecamatan Cipocok Jaya, Kota Serang. Penelitian dilakukan di Banjaragung, Kecamatan Cipocok Jaya, Kota Serang, Banten mulai Maret 2024-April 2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksploratif, metode kuadrat dengan peletakan plot purposive sampling ukuran plot 1 x 1 m secara sistematis, pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada 5 plot berpasangan. Analisis data meliputi analisis vegetasi dengan menghitung kerapatan, frekuensi, dominansi, Indeks Nilai Penting (INP) dan nilai Summed Dominance Ratio (SDR). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat 22 jenis gulma dari 14 famili/suku dengan total 112 individu. Jenis paling banyak ditemukan pada famili Asteraceae. Gulma yang mendominasi yaitu gulma Mitracarpus hirtus dengan nilai SDR sebesar 27.32%, dan gulma Praxelis clematidea merupakan gulma yang memiliki nilai SDR paling rendah yaitu 1.02%. Rekomendasi pengendalian gulma pada pertanaman jagung pakan dengan cara penyiangan manual secara teratur, pengendalian secara terpadu dapat mencakup pengendalian mekanik dan kimiawi secara bersamaan.   The purpose of this study was to determine the dominant weeds and the diversity of weeds that grow in corn (Zea mays L.) plantation areas during the generative phase, as well as recommendations for control in Cipocok Jaya District, Serang City. This vegetation analysis research was conducted in Banjaragung, Cipocok Jaya District, Serang City, Banten from March 2024-April 2024. This type of research is an exploratory, quadratic method with purposive sampling plotting of plot size 1 x 1 m systematically, sampling was carried out on 5 paired plots. Data analysis includes vegetation analysis by calculating density, frequency, dominance, Important Value Index (INP) and Summed Dominance Ratio (SDR) values. Based on the results of vegetation analysis research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that there are 22 types of weeds from 14 families with a total of 112 individuals. Most species were found in the Asteraceae family. The dominating weed is Mitracarpus hirtus weed with an SDR value of 27.32%, and Praxelis clematidea weed is the weed that has the lowest SDR value of 1.02%. Recommendations for weed control in feed maize crops by regular manual weeding, integrated control can include mechanical and chemical control simultaneously.
