Abstract
Analyses of Factors Affecting the Production of Rice in Irrigated Ecosystem in Subang District. An experiment to identify factors affecting irrigated rice production was conducted at Sub-district of Cipunegara, Subang District during April 2008. A descriptive method of analyses was used to evaluate data obtained from 60 farmers consisted of 30 farmers each of irrigated and semi-irrigated rice fields. The Cobb-Douglas with double naturally logarithmic analysis was used to analyses the production function of the factors affected rice productions. The regression analysis of production function with OLS metho method estimated that during the rainy season rice crops seeds and labours were among the production factors significantly affected the rice production. Both irrigated and semi-irrigated rice ecosystems significantly affected the rice production, but was not the planting time. It was observed that rice cultivation in irrigated rice field was more efficient than that in semi-irrigated rice field.
Abstrak
Percobaan untuk mengetahui produksi, pendapatan, dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi padi telah dilakukan di Kecamatan Cipunagars, Kabupaten Subang, pada bulan April 2008. Percobaan dilaksanakan dengan metode deskriptif, melibatkan sebanyak 60 responden terdiri atas 30 responden petani padi lahan irigasi teknis dan 10 responden petani padi lahan ingan setengah teknis. Fungsi produksi tipe Cobb-Douglas dalam bentuk dobel logaritima natural digunakan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor produksi yang berpengaruh terhadap produksi padi. Hasil analisis regresi fungsi produksi dengan metode OLS (Ondinary Least Square) pada musim hujan menunjukkan bahwa benih dan tenaga kerja berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi padi. Variabel dummy teknis irigasi berpengaruh nyata, sedangkan variabel dummy periode waktu tanam tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi padi. Secara ekonomi, usahatani padi di lahan irigasi teknis lebih efisien dibandingkan dengan usahatani padi di lahan irigasi setengah teknis.
