dc.description.abstract | Vegetables are included in horticultural commodities that have good prospective as agribusiness development opportunities in Jambi province. This is because it’s competitive and high sales value. Market opportunities of the products are still quite large and can be applied on a large or small scale entrepreneur. Chili and potatoes gave many benefits and could be processed in various forms of processed products. Commodity processing technology is already available and can be developed at the farm level. In order to empower farmers in Jambi Province which has a regional center for horticultural commodities (one of them in the District Merangin), potato and chili could be an object to ordeal hight quality processing technology development with environmental friendliness process. This action will encourage the development of competitive agro-industries horticulture and increase farmers' income. | en_US |
