ABSTRAKPenelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Sambeng, Kecamatan Borobudur dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi peternak ayam kampung terhadap pemanfaatan fermentasi daun dan kulit singkong sebagai campuran pakan ternak ayam kampung di Desa Sambeng, Kecamatan Borobudur. Persepsi oleh peternak akan berhubungan dengan pengambilan keputusan untuk menerima atau menolak suatu inovasi. Persepsi dibagi menjadi 5 kategori yaitu sangat setuju, setuju, ragu — ragu, tidak setuju, dan sangat tidak setuju. Persepsi diukur berdasarkan karakteristik inovasi yaitu keuntungan relatif, keselarasan, kerumitan, dapat dicoba, dapat diamati.Responden ditentukan dengan cara purposive random sampling, dan diperoleh responden berjumlah 30 orang. Tingkatan persepsi diperoleh dari skor pengisian kuesioner dengan skala likert. Pengisian kuesioner dilakukan dengan anjangsana ke masing — masing responden melalui wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan untuk mengetahui persepsi peternak yaitu analisis deskriptif dan analisis korelasi rank spearman. Hasil dari analisis deskriptif yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa persepsi peternak terhadap pemanfaatan fermentasi daun dan kulit singkong sebagai campuran pakan ternak ayam kampung berada dalam kategori setuju yaitu dengan nilai sebesar 1.926 dan rata—rata 64,2%. Hubungan faktor tingkat pendidikan, pengalaman beternak, akses informasi, jumlah kepemilikan ternak, dan jumlah kepemilikan lahan diantara kelima faktor tersebut tingkat pendidikan memiliki hubungan terhadap persepsi yaitu dengan menunjukkan tingkat keeratan dengan nilai r sebesar 0,459 dan signifikansi sebesar 0.018 (p value<0,05) dan akses informasi memiliki hubungan terhadap persepsi yaitu dengan menunjukkan tingkat keeratan hubungan yang lemah dengan nilai r sebesar 0,409 dan signifikansi sebesar 0,049 (p value<0,05) . sedangkan pengalaman beternak, jumlah kepemilikan ternak dan jumlah kepemilikan lahan tidak memiliki hubungan secara nyata terhadap persepsi. ABSTRACTThis reserch was carried out in Sambeng Village, Borobudur District, Magelang Regency with the aim to find out the perception of Native chicken farmers to the utilization fermented of leaves and cassava peel as a mixed feed of Native chicken in Sambeng Village, Borobudur District, Magelang Regency. Farmers’ perception will be related to the decision to accept or reject an innovation. Perception is divided into 5 categories, namely strongly agree, agree, doubt, disagree, and strongly disagree. Perception is measured based on the characteristics of innovation that is relative profit, harmony, complexity, can be tried, and can be understood. Respondents were determined by purposive random sampling, and 30 respondents were obtained. The perception level is obtained from the questionnaire filling score with a Likert scale. Filling out the questionnaire was done by visiting activities to each respondent through interviews. Analysis of the data used to determine breeder perceptions is the descriptive analysis and correlation analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis obtained showed that the farmers perception to the utilization fermented of leaves and cassava peel as a mixed feed of Native chicken is in the good category with a value of 1.926 and an average of 64,2%. The education level factor relations, experience of raising livestock, information acces, the number of livestock ownership,and area of agricultural land ownership, among these five factors the education level has a significant relationship to perception namely with showed level of closness with a value r of 0,459 and significant as big as 0,018 (p value<0,05) and information acces has a significant relationship to perception namely with showed level of closness relationship the weak with a value r of 0,409 and significant as big as 0,049 (p value<0,05). While experience of raising livestock, the number of livestock ownership and area of agricultural land ownership does not have a significant relationship with perception.Keyword: Perception, Fermented leaves and cassava peel, native chicken
