dc.description.abstractBased on the provided document, here are the characteristics of the prospective essential oils in Indonesia:Clausena Oil (Clausena anisata)Oil Content & Yield: Leaf oil content is 1.6%–2.2%, with a water and steam distillation yield of 1.5%–2.0% (wet basis). Major Components: Primarily trans-anethole (90%–95%), along with small amounts of cis-anethole, estragol, and anise aldehyde. Properties: Light yellow in color, insoluble in 70% ethanol but soluble in 80% (1:8) and 90% (1:1) ethanol. Krangean Oil (Litsea cubeba)Oil Content & Yield: Leaf oil content is about 9%, with a water and steam distillation yield of roughly 8% (dry basis). Major Components: Cineole (27%–54%), $\beta$-pinene (17%–20%), citral (13%–17%), linalol (8%–9%), and $\alpha$-pinene (4%–6%). Properties: Odor is very similar to cajeput oil. Clear to light yellow, with an optical rotation of (-20)° to (-17)° and solubility in 70% ethanol at 1:5. Lemongrass Oil (Cymbopogon citratus)Oil Content & Yield: Leaf oil content is about 0.4%, with a water and steam distillation yield of about 0.31% (wet basis). Major Components: Citral is the main constituent (76%–83%), consisting of citral-a (39%–44%) and citral-b (34%–38%).
