Interaksi Varietas dan Penerapan Sistem Tanam Legowo Terhadap Peningkatan Hasil Padi

Abstract
Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi varietas dengan tipe anakan yang berbeda dan sistem tanam di lahan irigasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan diperoleh rekomendasi pilihan sistem tanam yang tepat untuk varietas yang berbeda. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada MK 2017 di Kebun Percobaan BB Padi Sukamandi. Kegiatan disusun berdasarkan Rancangan Split Plot dengan empat ulangan. Petak utama adalah varietas dengan tipe anakan berbeda sebanyak dua taraf, yaitu (1) inbrida Inpari 23 (anakan sedikit) dan (2) Inbrida Inpari 24 (anakan banyak). Anak petak adalah sistem tanam dengan empat taraf: (1) tegel 25x25cm, (2) legowo 2:1 rekomendasi (25:50:12,5 cm), (3) legowo 4:1 tipe 2 (25:50:12,5 cm) , dan legowo 6:1 tipe 2 (25:50:12,5 cm). Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini : (1) Penerapan sistem tanam legowo mempunyai efek yang berbeda spesifik pada karakter varietas yang digunakan. (2) Sistem tanam legowo dengan konsep penambahan populasi tanaman akan memberikan dampak penurunan jumlah anakan per rumpun namun jika dikonversikan dalam skala luasan tertentu maka jumlah anakannya tetap unggul. (3) Sistem tanam yang berbeda tidak mempengaruhi komponen hasil lainnya pengisian, jumlah gabah per malai maupun bobot 1000 butir. (4) Penerapan legowo lebih cocok dipadukan dengan varietas dengan tipe anakan banyak, namun kurang sesuai pada tipe anakan sedikit. Abstract This research aimed to study the interaction between rice varieties having different type of tillering ability with planting system on irrigated rice field. It was expected that the recommended legowo planting system can be more specific to adjust the varieties to be planted. The research was conducted in DS 2017 at Sukamandi experimental station of Indonesian Center for Rice Research (ICRR). The experiment was arranged in a Split Plot Design with four replications. The main plot was variety which consisted of (1) Inpari 23 and (2) Inpari 24, to represent two types of varieties with different tillering character. The sub plot was planting system with 4 levels : (1) tegel 25x25cm, (2) legowo 2:1 r10ecommendation (25:50:12,5 cm), (3) legowo 4:1 type 2 (25:50:12,5 cm) , and legowo 6:1 type 2 (25:50:12,5 cm). The results obtained from this study : (1) Application of legowo planting system had different effect on the specific character varieties used. (2) Increasing plant population by legowo planting system will give the impact of decreasing the number of tillers per hill but if converted in certain area then the number of tillers remain higher. (3) Legowo planting system only significantly decreased the number of tillers per hill, but did not significantly affect the other yield components, such us the number of grains per panicle, grain filling percentage, and 1000 weight grains. and (4) The application of legowo was more suitable to be combined with large tiller number per hills variety character than few tiller types.
