dc.description.abstractAbstrak Observasi serangan penggerek padi kuning (Scirpophaga incertulas) pada 17 galur padi gogo telah dilakukan di BPTP Lampung pada tahun 2005 di Desa Rama Mukti, Kecamatan Seputih Raman, Lampung Tengah. Galur-galur padi gogo diuji dan disusun dengan menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok dengan 18 perlakuan dan diulang empat kali. Perlakuan yang diuji yaitu 17 galur padi gogo dan satu varietas Batutegi sebagai pembanding, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa galur TB.356b-Tb-20-l lebih toleran terhadap penggerek padi kuning di banding galur lainnya, Bobot gabah galur tersebut 95,8 g/5 rumpun, jumlah gabah isi 149,1 butir/malai, tinggi tanaman 120 cm, produksi gabah kering panen (GKP) 4,31 t/ha. Vigor rase vegetatif dan generatif sedang dan bulir masak 80% pada umur hari 111 hari Abstract The Yellow Rice Borer (Scirpophaga incertulas) Infestation and the Agronomic Traits Performance of Several Upland Rice Lines. A field trial to evaluate the tolerance of 1 7 gogo rice line to the yellow rice borer was conducted in the wet season of 2005. The trial was conducted in the endemic white rice borer area in Rama Mukti, Seputih Raman District, Central Lampung. The experiment was arranged in a Randomized Block Design with four replications, Results indicated that there were significant different in the damage levels among upland rice lines due to yellow rice borer. As compared to Batutegi variety and other lines, TB.356b-Tb-20-1 showed a low eat infestation white rice borer, higher plant/stool, higher plant hights, higher total grain ‘panicle, higher total grain production about 4.31 t/ha, higher 1000 grain weight, better vegetative growth, and more vigour generative growth.
