dc.descriptionEffect of canopy form and sector on clove productionThis study was conducted to evaluate the effect of canopy form and sector on the production of clove in September 1983 at Solok experimental garden.The form of canopy that were observed mamel Ovale, Cylindrical and Pyramidal. Flowers development were observed at eastern, western, northern and southern sectors. The factors were statistically analysis by using completely randomize design with three replications.The study revealed that the highest development of flower was found at Cylindrical form (95.10%) and the lowest at Pyramidal sector (75.43%). The number of flowers was highest at eastern part 26,23% for sylindrical form and the lowest 14,87% for pyramidal form.id-ID
