dc.descriptionABSTRACTThe objective of this research was to evaluate reproduction performance include Service per Conception (S / C), Days Open (DO), Conception Rate (CR) and Calving Interval (CI) at Public’s Production Center (SPR) Kasaliang Subang. The material in this study were 100 data of beef cattle which had been partus at least once. The method that used in this study were case studies, equipped by observation, dispersion of questionnaires and interviews. Characteristics of respondents were time, education, and number of animal. Primary data was quantitatively analyzed and secondary data with inseminator recording. Both of them were fitted by Artificial Insemination Card which is had by breeders and goverments. The conclusions of the results of the study were S / C, the cycle of lust, days open, calving interval and conception rate was 1.43 to 2.17, 19 to 21 days, 3.3 to 7.50 months, >14 months and 65.72 to 72.89% respectively.ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui penampilan reproduksi ternak sapi potong (meliputi; S/C, DO, CR dan CI) di Sentra Produksi Rakyat (SPR) wilayah Kasaliang Kabupaten Subang. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 data Peternak sapi potong, dan ternak tersebut telah partus minimal satu kali. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus, dilengkapi dengan observasi, penyebaran koesioner dan wawancara. Karakteristik responden meliputi usia, pendidikan pengalaman dan jumlah ternak. Data primer dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan data sekunder diperoleh melalui catatan recording inseminator kemudian dicocokkan dengan kartu hasil IB yang dimiliki peternak dan instansi terkait. Kesimpulan hasil penelitiannya adalah performa reproduksi meliputi service per conception [S/C] 1,43 sampai dengan 2,17, siklus birahi antara 19 sampai 21 hari, days open [DO] bervariasi berada pada kisaran 3,13 sampai dengan 7,50 bulan, calving interval [CI] berada di atas 14 bulan dan conception rate [CR] pada kisaran 65,72 sampai dengan 72,89%.en-US
