dc.description.abstractIdentification of Woman Role in Rural Farming System of Kampar Regency. Oni Ekalinda. The aim of the study was to find 1) information on woman contribution in her domesticity, 2) information on the role of woman in making decision and her involvement in activities of farming system and 3) information the income from farming system. Thirty respondents were selected by purposive sampling random at Districts of Tambang and Air Tiris. Results of the study showed : 1) most of the works in the paddy fields were done by the wives, 2) the wives and the husbands were equal in making decision of household activities, 3) the wives were dominant in making decision of farming system activities, 4) the net income from the wives were higher than from the husbands. Around 53% of family income came from the wives in Tambang District and 52% in Air Tris. Key words: farming system, woman, incomeen_US
