Abstract
This study aims to determine the determinant factors that influence performance by paying attention to motivation as an intermediate variable. The data analysis technique used is an analysis based on the Structural Equational Model (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study indicate that there is a direct positive and significant influence of Leadership Style, Employee Placement, and Work Environment on Employee Performance. From this research, it was also found that motivation significantly mediates the direct influence of Leadership Style, Employee Placement, and Work Environment on Employee Performance. The implication of the findings in this study is for companies to continue to take action regarding the importance of Leadership Style, Employee Placement, and Work Environment. Involving employees in making decisions will make employees feel more like themselves as part of the company. Always open opportunities for employees to show their potential, maintain good relationships with fellow employees and superiors to create a conducive working environment and encourage work motivation.
