dc.description.abstractIni contoh sukses mengelola lahan rawa ala Gubernur Kalimantan Timur, Prof. Dr. H. Awang Farouq. Ia menyulap lahan rawa yang semula tidur menjadi lumbung pangan. Seluas 50.000 ha lahan rawa di KP. Sabanar Baru, Delta Kayan, Kabupaten Bulungan, Kaltim ditetapkan sebagai Kayan Delta Food Estate (KADEFE). Ide yang tercetus pada PEKAN NASIONAL TANI & NELAYAN, Juni 2011 di Tenggarong, Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara, Kalimantan Timur mulai membuahkan hasil. Kini padi sudah mulai dipetik sejak penghujung 2012. Produktivitas padi rata-rata 6,65 ton GKP/ha atau 5,75 ton GKG/ha (setara 3,607 ton beras/ha).en_US
