dc.descriptionEffect of growth regulators on the growth of cutting cloveTo produce homogenous planting material a study of vegetative propagation of cutting clove was done by using several growth regulator. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of growth regulators on the cutting growth. The experiment was conducted at the Research Institute for Spice and Medicinal Crops, bogor, West Java from February to July 1987. Randomized block design with 6 treathments and 4 replications was used. The treatment consist of control, Rootone F, Bioroota, Strike, Murphy and Seradix. The result showed that growth regulator was not significantly effect all parameters tested on observed. Compare with control, growth regulators tend to produce more roots, shoots and roots percentage and roots length. Testing with other growth regulators should be done to find out the effective growth regulator to increase the clove cutting growth.id-ID
