| dc.description.abstract | Abstrak Meningkatnya Suhu atmosfir burni telah dirasakan dan diakui teriadi sebagai dampak dari perubahan iklim global. Pertumbuhan serangga hama maupun musuh alami dipengaruhi Oleh Suhu udara. Serangga akan tumbuh apabila Suhu udara di sekitamya melebihi ambang Suhu pertumbuhan (To) tertentu dan kecepatan pertumbuhannya dipengaruhi Oleh Suhu efektif sebagai selisih antara Suhu harian dan To. Masa pertumbuhaan serangga untuk satu generasi dapat dihitung sebagai akumulatif Suhu efektif (K). Tulisan ini membahas To dan K hama padi dan musuh alaminya, kemudian menghitung jumlah generasi dengan rata-rata Suhu harian pada tahun 2007 di Sukarnandi, Jawa Barat dan mengestimasi perubahan pertumbuhannya apabila rata-rata Suhu udara meningkat 20C. Ambang To.. untuk hama padi berkisar antara Arnbang To untuk musuh alami hama padi berkisar antara Akumulatif Suhu efektif K yang dibutuhkan untuk pertumbuhan satu generasi pada hama padi berkisar antara derajat-hari. Akumulatif Suhu efektif K yang dibutuhkan untuk pertumbuhan satu generasi pada musuh alami hama padi berkisar antara 172,6-263,3 derajat/hari. Pada Suhu Saat ini jumlah generasi hama padi berkisar antara 8-22 generasi dalam satu tahun, sedangkan untuk musuh alami hama padi antara 20-34 generasi. Dengan peningkatan Suhu 200C, akan terjadi penambahan iumlah generasi hama padi antara I-3 generasi per tahun, sedangkan untuk musuh alami harna padi antara 24 generasi per tahun. Wereng sebagai vektor penyakit virus seperti penyakit tungro, kerdil hampa dan kerdil rumput, akan meningkat jumlah generasinya I -3 generasi per tahun dengan meningkatnya Suhu udara, yang diperkirakan akan meningkatkan ancaman penyakit virus pada tanaman padi. Abstract Effect of the Global Climate Change to the Rice Pest and their Natural Enemies in Indonesia. Increasing in the air temperature of globe is being realized and recognized as an effect of the climate change. Insects and their natural enemy’s development are influenced by air temperature. Insect growth when air temperature is at above the temperature development threshold (To) and the increasing rate of development depend on the so-called effective temperature. Effective temperature (K) is a mean rof the daily temperature subtracted by TO. Insect development in one generation can be expressed by cumulative effective temperature. In this paper the To and the K of rice pests and their natural enemies were reviewed and the number of their generation as affected by increasing temperature 20C were calculated the development threshold (To) for rice insect pests ranged from 8.8-15.30C. while to for their natural enemies ranged from 10.6-15.600C. The accumulative effective temperature (K) for one generation of insect pest ranged from 252.4-830 days-degrees, while for their natural enemies ranged from 172.6-263.3 days-degrees. Number of generations of the rice insect pests in a year were 8-22 generations at present air temperature, while for their natural enemies were 20-34 generations. Assuming that of increasing in the air temperature was an effect of global warming, number generations of insect pests will increase as much as 1-3 generations annually, while for their natural enemies were 2-4 generations annually. Leaf and planthopper are vectors of the rice tungro virus and stunt diseases, respectively. The number of vector generation will increase as much as I-3 generations annually, therefore the occurrences infection of the virus diseases vectored by the leaf and the planthopper are expected to increase as well | |
