ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilaksanakan tanggal 2 maret sampai 2 mei 2020 di Desa Sanggrahan, Kecamatan Kranggan, Kabupaten Temanggung Tujuan yang ingin dicapai adalah mengetahui respons peternak dan faktor faktor yang mempengaruhi respons peternak terhadap pengolahan fermentasi jerami sebagai complete feed untuk pakan ternak domba. Desain pengkajian menggunakan teknik One-Shot Case Study. Penentuan jumlah sampel menggunakan rumus slovin kemudian dilakukan pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling didapatkan 30 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui PRA, wawancara dan observasi. Pengukuran respons terdiri dari aspek pengetahuan, sikap, dan ketrampilan yang di gambarkan menggunakan garis kontinum dengan 5 kategori yaitu sangat rendah, rendah, sedang, tinggi, dan sangat tinggi. Untuk mengetahui faktor faktor yang mempengaruhi respons menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil analisis respons diperoleh skor 2517 dengan skor rata rata 83,9 masuk dalam kategori tinggi. Hasil uji F (simultan) variabel umur, tingkat pendidikan, pengalaman beternak dan jumlah kepemilikan ternak berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap respons 0,000 (P<0,01). Hasil uji T umur tidak berpengaruh terhadap terpons 0,118 (P>0,05), pendidikan berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap respons 0,000 (P<0,01), pengalaman beternak tidak berpengaruh terhadap respons 0,109 (P>0,05), jumlah ternak berpengaruh nyata terhadap respons 0,021 (P<0,05). Simpulan dari kajian ini yaitu respons peternak masuk dalam kategori tinggi. Faktor yang mempengaruhi respons adalah pendidikan (P<0,01) dan jumlah ternak (P<0,05).
