Abstract
North Sumatra province is a potential region for maize development in
Indonesia. This province becomes the fifth maize producers after East Java, Central
Java, Lampung and NTT. The maize development at Inceptisol Karo District has not
yet achieved optimum production. The reason of this is site specific fertilizer based on
soil characteristic and nutrient content are not available.
