- ItemIdentifikasi Dan Penentuan Jenis Tanah Di Kabupaten Maluku Tengah(Balai Besar Pengkajian dan Pengembangan Teknologi Pertanian, 2017) Ayal, Yacob; Kaihatu, Sheny S; Waas, Edwen D; ; Balai Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian MalukuPenelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tanah-tanah di Kabupaten Maluku Tengah Provinsi Maluku dilaksanakan pada Agustus 2014. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan 6 ordo tanah menurunkan sebanyak 8 subordo, 12 grup dan 21 subgrup tanah. Ordo Entisol menurunkan 3 subgrup yaitu Typic Sulfaquents, Haplic Sulfaquents dan Typic Udipsamments. Ordo Inceptisol menurunkan 9 subgrup yaitu Sulfic Endoaquepts, Aeric Endoaquepts, Typic Endoaquepts, Lithic Eutrudepts, Aquic Eutrudepts, Vertic Eutrudepts, Typic Eutrudepts, Aquic Dystrudepts, dan Typic Dystrudepts. Ordo Vertisols menurunkan 1 subgrup yaitu Leptic Hapluderts. Ordo Alfisols menurunkan 2 subgrup yaitu Vertic Hapludalfs dan Typic Hapludalfs. Ordo Ultisols menurunkan 4 subgrup yaitu Typic Kanhapludults, Typic Kandiudults, Inceptic Hapludults, dan Typic Hapludults. Dan Or do Oxisols menurunkan 2 subgrup yaitu Typic Hapludox, dan Typic Eutrudox. Pada umumnya tanah-tanah didaerah penelitian merupakan tanah belum mengalami perkembangan horizon dan memiliki solum tanah dari dangkal sampai dalam. Warna tanah bervariasi dari Cokl at hinga Kuning kemerahan. Tekstur Liat sampai berpasir, konsistensi sampai lekat, kedalaman efektif dangkal sampai dalam dan pH tanah sangat masam sampai agak alkalis. Keadaan landform datar hingga bergunung.

Treatments tested consisted of the first factor is the kind of organic fertilizer (O), ie without organic matter (O0); straw compost added 3 t / ha (O), and manure added 3 t / ha (O21) and the second factor is 5 doses of inorganic fertilizer (A), ie 0% x dose of NPK Phonska (A), 25% x dose of NPK Phonska (A1), 50% x dose of NPK Phonska (A2 ), 75% x Phonska dose of NPK (A) and 100% NPK dose x Phonska (A). Straw compost used at this stage of the study was obtained from the results of the straw while composting manure compost taken from the composting is done by local farmers. Each treatment was repeated 3 times, the total treatment is 45 treatments. Base used urea fertilizer 150 kg / ha. Lowland rice varieties are grown in a manner Cigeulis transplanting and planting system tiles are applied with a spacing of 25 cm x 25 cm. Pest control is done in an integrated manner. Parameters measured were maximum vegetative phase of plant height, number of tillers per hill, number of productive tillers per hill and panicle length, number of grains per panicle, number of empty grains per panicle, number of filled grains per panicle, weight 1000 grain seeds, tile result, the yield per hectare). The results of the study showed that 1) the use of manure and rice straw compost at a dose of 3 tons per hectare to increase productivity in succession of paddy rice 4.37 tons / ha and 4.51 t / ha, 2) Provision of straw compost at a dose of 3 tons per ha was able to save the use of chemical fertilizers by 50%. 430
