Six local rice genotypes were tested in two different fertilizer applications (organic and in-organic fertilizer) to study their adaptation to organic and in-organic fertilizing condition, seven genotypes were evaluated intens study. Research conducted irrigation in rice field Sumbersari Village, Lowokwaru District, Malang City at November 2008 until May 2009 (rainy season), using randomized completed block design with three replications and seven trials. Adaptation of testing materials were evaluated based on their grain yield (t/ha) using combined analysis of variance do properly with standard procedure. Not significant genotype x environment interaction found in tiller number, number of productive tiller, panicle length and average of yield. Significant genotype x environment interaction found in 1000 grain weight. Highly significant genotype x environment interaction found in plant height, age of flowering, age of harvest, number of filled grain per panicle and number of filled grain per clump, number of grain per panicle and percentation of empty grain per panicle. Tambak Urang and Hoing have high yield average in two fertilizer environments. ABSTRAK Enam genotip padi lokal diuji adaptasinya terhadap dua lingkungan berbeda berdasarkan jenis pemupukan yang diaplikasikan (organik dan anorganik). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2008-Mei 2009 (MH) di lahan sawah irigasi Desa Sumbersari, Kecamatan Lowokwaru, Kota Malang. Desain lapang menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok dengan tiga ulangan dan tujuh perlakuan. Analisis ragam gabungan dilakukan sesuai dengan prosedur baku untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya interaksi. Interaksi genotip x lingkungan tidak nyata terdapat pada karakter jumlah anakan, jumlah anakan produktif, panjang malai, malai, dan hasil gabah gagangan kering/hektar. Interaksi genotip x lingkungan nyata terdapat pada karakter bobot 1.000 butir. Interaksi genotip x lingkungan sangat nyata terdapat pada karakter tinggi tanaman, umur bunga, umur panen, jumlah gabah isi/malai, jumlah gabah isi/rumpun, jumlah gabah/mala /malai dan persentase ersentase gabah hampa/malai. Tambak Urang dan Hoing memiliki rata-rata pontensi hasil gabah malai kering/hektar tertinggi pada lingkungan pemupukan organik dan anorganik.
