PEMANFAATAN TRICHODERMA VIRIDE UNTUK PENGENDALIAN PENYAKIT LAYU FUSARIUM PADA TANAMAN TOMAT
(Balai Besar Pengkajian dan Pengembangan Teknologi Pertanian, 2018) Lawang, Antonius; Martanto, Eko A.; Erari, D.K.; Balai Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian Papua Barat
Trichoderma viride is an antagonist fungus that capable of controlling Fusarium wilt disease in tomato plants. The research was conducted in Laboratory of Plant Diseases of Agricultural Faculty, Papua University, Manokwari and Laboratory of Pest and Disease Observation Prafi Manokwari. The objective of the study was to evaluate the capability of Trichoderma viride in suppressing Fusarium oxysporium f. sp. lycopersici on tomato plants. This study was designed using Factorial Complete Random Design consisting of four varieties of tomato plants, four treatments of Trichoderma and repeated three times. Data analysis was performed using analysis of variants (ANOVA), if a significant effect of treatment, it is followed by BNJ test at level of 95%. Trichoderma treatment affects plant height because Trichoderma is synergistic with solvent-phosphate bacteria. Plant heigh of Mawar varieties are higher than Lentana, Permata and Karina varieties. The disease intensity of Mawar varieties was 32.50% followed by Permata 51,58%, Karina 51,81% and Lentana 54,14%. The disease intensity of Fusarium wilt in plants not given Trichoderma was higher (65,76%) than Fusarium application one week before of Trichoderma (46,27%), Trichoderma and Fusarium application simultaneously (44,06%) and Trichoderma application one week before Fusarium (33.33%). The best number of fruit branch, flower, fruit and fruit weight was Trichoderma application one week before Fusarium (T1) followed by Trichoderma and Fusarium application simultaneously (T2), Fusarium application one week before Trichoderma (T3) and Fusarium application without Trichoderma (T0).
