    PENGARUH CARA PENGOLAHAN TANAH DAN PEMBERIAN PUPUK KANDANG TERHADAP HASIL UBIKAYU DI LAHAN KERING

    Effect of soil tillage and cow manure application on growth and yield of cassava on dry land. An experiment was conducted at farmersfield in Batu tungku, South Kalimantan from June 1989 to Februari 1990. The experiment used a Split Plot Design with three applications. Soil tillage was used as main plot consisted of (a) zero tillage, (b) hoe one application, (c) hoe two applications, (d). plow one application with cow power, (e). plow one application and harrow one application with cow power, (t). plow one application and rotary one application, (g). plow one application not rotary, and (h). plow one aplication with cow power and herbicide one application, while cow manure as sub plot consisted of 1 and 2 tons/ha. Urea a applied 90 kg N/ha, TSP 45 kg P20s/ha and potasium chloride 60 kg K20/ha as a basal fertilizer. Adhira-IV variety was planted at 80 x 100 cm. The highest yield of 32 tlha cassava was achieved at hoe two applications and cow manure 1 ton/ha. I
