Al-Jabri; S. AbdulrachmanAbstrak Technology Innovation on Bio Energy Soil Conditioner to Improve Soil Physic, Chemical, and Biology of Acid Mineral Soil and the Rice Growth. The application of inorganic fertilizer, such as urea, TSP/SP36, and KCI, into the paddy soil since the year of 1960's until the present time, has given prosperity to most of the rice producing countries. Unfortunately, after the long period this practice has brought the soil became sickness and environment pollution. Through the application of bio energy soil conditioner or so called PTBE (penyehat tanah bio energi) with its active material contents of 26% CaO and 7% MgO, the soil physic, chemical, and biology, were improved. Depended on the soil texture and soil acidity, the optimum dosage of PTBE was within the range of 15-40 l/ha. Based on the relative agronomy effectiveness (RAE) value. PTBE dosage for acid mineral soil applied in this experiment under the greenhouse condition was 15 l/ha which was related to the highest RAE of 109%. Under field condition, the dosage of PTBE at 30 l/ha yielded 7.20 t/ha of dried rice grain. Technically, bio energy soil conditioner should be applied at the time during the second soil plow and it should be incorporated well into 10-15 cm of the soil depth. Prior to its application, PTBE should be diluted with water at the ratio of 1: 15 (v: v). This Bio energy soil conditioner is applicable also for the sick acid mineral soil planted with either food crops or horticultural crops.
