- ItemINOVASI INTERNET OF THINGS PADA SEKTOR PERTANIAN: PENDEKATAN ANALISIS SCIENTOMETRICS(Sekretariat Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan Pertanian, 2020-06-15) Harsanto, BudiInternet of things (IoT) which was originally conceived to improve business processes in the manufacturing industry, is now an inseparable part in diverse economic sectors, no exception for primary sectors such as agriculture. The purpose of this paper is to understand the IoT-based innovations in the agricultural sector by analyzing relevant scientific publication's metadata in the Scopus academic databases so it can help researchers, practitioners and policy makers about IoT innovations that have been implemented or researched on a global scale. There are growing need for the use of IoT development in agriculturel due to the need for food as well as for develoving a more sustainable agriculturein the future. The research begins with a structured search for scholar publications and analyzed quantitatively using a scientometrics approach. The analysis showed that most publications on the topic of IoT in the agricultural sector were from India, China and the United States. Analysis of keywords shows that there are five clusters of keywords formed. In each cluster, there are concepts that emerge namely internet of things, smart agriculture, cloud computing and soil moisture (cluster 1); automation, RFID, agricultural products (cluster 2), agriculture, sensors, wireless sensor networks (cluster 3), sensor nodes (cluster 4); and crops, cultivation, precision agriculture (cluster 5).
