    Perencanaan Strategis Untuk Peningkatan Kinerja Penyelenggaraan Pelatihan di Pusat Pelatihan Pertanian dan Perdesaan Swadaya (P4S)

    This study aims to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the Farmer Agricultural and Rural Training Center (FARTC) in order to develop strategies to manage the training effectively. Respondents are managers of FARTC spread in Jakarta and Central Java locations. The method applied is a SWOT analysis. The results show the strengths of FARTC that is the mastering of technology and having a reliable product. While, the weaknesses are having inadequate infrastructure facilities and low managerial ability. The opportunity is getting support from government agencies and the surrounded community. Further, the threats faced are lack of public attention, rising raw material prices, and market competition. The strategies that may be applied are: utilizing the support of government agencies to improve the ability of agricultural technology; product innovation to attract the community to participate in training; involving local communities as organizers; utilizing social media to attract community attention.
