    The successfulness or not of development program in agrculture sector is for instance determined by the succesfulness of farmers society in selling production approrintely so that it is got high share and profit. The research was carried out in Kayu Ar District Kabupaten Kerinci Regency, Jambi in 2003. The objective of this research was to know the marketing efficiency on potato production level in research area. The research found that sanpling farmers have generally worked in maximum, that was indicated with their high potato production. However, by looking at potato development model using effiency approarch, it showe that marketing channel i was more efficient than other marketing channel based n technical efficiency. And from marketing economic effiiency, marketing channel i was also more effiecient than other.
