dc.descriptionDosis pupuk nitrogen dan kalium sangat berpengaruh terhadap hasil dan mutu umbi kentang. Oleh karena itu dosis pupuk nitrogen dan kalium yang selama ini direkomendasikan untuk kentang sayur perlu ditinjau kembali. Untuk maksud tersebut percobaan pemupukan telah dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Balai Penelitian Tanaman Sayuran menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok dengan tiga ulangan. Perlakuan adalah kombinasi dosis pupuk nitrogen, yaitu 225 kg N/ha, 180 kg N/ha (standar RIV 1995) dan 135 kg N/ha dengan dosis dan sumber pupuk kalium, yaitu 150 kg K2O/ha dan 200 kg K2O/ha dari KCl, 150 kg K2O/ha, dan 200 kg K2O/ha dari K2SO4. Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pupuk nitrogen yang dikombinasikan dengan kalium tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap pertumbuhan, hasil, dan kadar gula reduksi tanaman kentang olahan klon 095. Dengan demikian pemberian pupuk N pada tanaman kentang klon 095 dapat dikurangi dari 180 kg/ha menjadi 135 kg/ha dan dapat dikombinasikan dengan pupuk kalium 150 kg K2O/ha baik berasal dari KCl maupun K2SO4 kadar 150 kg K2O/ha.Response of processing potato clone 095 to nitrogen and potash fertilizers application. Dosage of nitrogen and potash fertilizers significantly affect yield and quality of potato tubers. Therefore, fertilizers dosages that was recommended for table potato need to be reconsidered for processing potato. For that purpose, an experiment of fertilizers application has been conducted at experimental farm of IVEGRI by using randomized complete block design with three replicates. The treatments were combination between nitrogen dosages, i.e. 225 kg/ha, 180 kg/ha, and 135 kg/ha with dosage and source of potash fertilizer of 150 kg K2O/ha and 200 kg K2O/ha from KCl, 150 kg K2O/ha, and 200 kg K2O/ha from K2SO4. The results showed that application of nitrogen combined with potash did not affect the growth, yield, and reducing sugar content of processing potato clone 095. Therefore, the dosage of nitrogen fertilizer for processing potato clone 095 can be reduced from 180 kg/ha to 135 kg N/ha and could be combined with potash fertlizer at 150 kg K2O/ha either from KCl or K2SO4 at 150 kg K2O/ha.en-US
