Pengaruh Jarak Tanam dan Ukuran Umbi Bibit terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Kentang Varietas Granola untuk Bibit

dc.description | ABSTRAK . Percobaan dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Margahayu Lembang, Balai Penelitian Tanaman Sayuran dengan ketinggian 1.250 m dpl dari bulan Juni sampai dengan September 2005. Percobaan menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Masing-masing perlakuan adalah (a) umbi bibit <2,5 g dengan jarak tanam 80x15 cm, (b) umbi bibit <2,5 g dengan jarak tanam 80x30 cm, (c) umbi bibit 2,6-5 g dengan jarak tanam 80x15 cm, (d) umbi bibit 2,6-5 g dengan jarak tanam 80x30 cm, (e) umbi bibit >5,1 g dengan jarak tanam 80x15 cm, dan (f) umbi bibit >5,1 g dengan jarak tanam 80x30 cm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jarak tanam dan ukuran umbi bibit berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil kentang varietas Granola untuk bibit. Jarak tanam 80x30 cm dengan ukuran umbi bibit <2,5 g memberikan pengaruh yang baik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil kentang Granola dibandingkan perlakuan yang lain.ABSTRACT. This experiment was conducted at Indonesian Vegetable Research Institute with the altitude of 1,250 m asl from June until September 2005. The experiment used a randomized block design with 6 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments were (a) seed size <2.5 g with spacing of 80x15 cm, (b) seed size <2.5 g. with spacing of 80x30 cm, (c) seed size 2.6-5 g with spacing of 80x15 cm, (d) seed size 2.6-5 g with spacing of 80x30 cm, (e) seed size >5.1 g with spacing of 80x15 cm, and (f) seed size >5.1 g with spacing of 80x30 cm. The results indicated that planting distance and size of seed significantly affect the growth and tuber yield of potato for seed production. Planting distance of 80x30 cm and seed size <2.5 g gave the better yield of potato seed compare with others. | en-US |
