Penerapan hasil pelatihan pada penyuluh pertanian selama ini masih kurang hanya sekitar 60-70% yang dapat diterapkan dalam pekerjaan sebagai penyuluh pertanian. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah penerapan Analisis Kebutuhan Pelatihan yang kurang tepat. Analisis Kebutuhan Pelatihan sangat membantu dalam keberhasilan program pelatihan, mengetahui tingkat diskrepansi antara kompetensi yang ada pada penyuluh pertanian dengan kemampuan kinerja yang harus dimiliki. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pelatihan multimedia melalui analisis terhadap peserta dan elemen keterampilan yang perlu dilatihkan, guna meyusun program pelatihan bagi Penyuluh Pertanian T.A. 2024 di UPTD BPPSDMP Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Metode yang dilakukan pada penelitian Analisis Kebutuhan Pelatihan menggunakan Training Need Assessment-Tool (TNA-T). Data primer didapatkan melalui pengisian kuesioner untuk melihat persepsi responden terhadap elemen keterampilan yang ditawarkan, yaitu terhadap Kemampuan Kerja Jabatan atau keterampilan yang penting/diperlukan dalam melaksanakan tugas dan terhadap Kemampuan Kerja Pribadi atau keterampilan yang dimiliki oleh responden. Hasil penelitian untuk AKP Pelatihan Multimedia bagi Penyuluh Pertanian TA. 2024 sebanyak 19 orang yang masuk ke wilayah A dengan kategori Sangat mendesak/Perlu dilatihkan dan 11 orang yang masuk ke wilayah B (Mendesak/Perlu Dilatihkan). Hal ini memenuhi kuota peserta pelatihan sebanyak 30 peserta. Untuk kurikulum semua elemen keterampilan yang ditawarkan masuk ke dalam wilayah B (Mendesak/Perlu Dilatihkan) sehingga semua elemen keterampilan menjadi materi pelatihan.

One of the causes is the inappropriate implementation of Training Needs Analysis. Training needs analysis is very helpful in the success of training programs, knowing the level of correlation between the existing competencies of agricultural instructors and the performance abilities that must be possessed. The aim of the research is to identify multimedia training needs through analysis of participants and the skill elements that need to be trained, in order to develop a training program for Agricultural Extension Officers T.A. 2024 at UPTD BPPSDMP East Kalimantan Province. The method used in the Training Needs Analysis research uses Training Need Assessment-Tool (TNA-T). Primary data was obtained by filling out a questionnaire to see the respondent's perception of the skills elements offered, namely the Job Ability or skills that are important/required in carrying out tasks and the Personal Work Ability or skills possessed by the respondent. In 2024, 19 people will enter region A in the Very Urgent/Need to be trained category and 11 people will enter region B (Urgent/Need to be trained). This fulfills the training participant quota of 30 participants. For the curriculum, all skill elements offered are included in area B (Urgent/Need to be trained) so that all skill elements become training material.
