Histomorfometri of Broiler Small Intestine after Administrated of Soybean Waste and Palm Kernel Meal Fermented by Aspergillus niger (AKBISprob)

Abstract
Description
Feeding of soybean waste and palm kernel meal fermented by Aspergillus niger (AKBISprob) in broiler has been conducted to determine the chicken gastrointestinal health based on histomorfometri of duodenum, jejunum and ileum. 24 Broiler strain CP 707 unsexed were treated AKBISprob, were obtained of P0 (only given of commercial feed), P1 (commercial feed and 2% AKBISprob), P2 (commercial feed and 4% AKBISprob) and P3 (commercial feed and 6% AKBISprob). AKBISprob being given treatment for 21 and 35 days. Preparation of gastrointestinals of chickens for histological were made on days 22 and 36. The measurement of height of villi (TV), basal width (LB) and the width of the apical villi (LAV) based on histological observations of intestine with hematoxillin eosin (HE) staining. The results showed interaction between level and duration of AKBISprob administration were not significantly effect (P>0.05) on TV, LB and LAV duodenum, jejunum and ileum of broiler small intestine. Administration of AKBISprob 0, 2, 4 and 6% were not significantly effect (P>0.05) on TV, LB and LAV duodenum, jejunum, and ileum of small intestine of broiler, but duration 21 and 35 days were significantly effect (P<0.01) on TV, LB and LAV duodenum, jejunum and ileum of broiler. Based on the research were concluded that AKBISprob for 35 days could increase histomorfometri of broiler
