dc.descriptionThis research aims to determine the effect of topping technique and the addition of organic fertilizer on soybean production response in the reproductive phase. The study was conducted in Sei Mencirim Village, Sunggal, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra from October 2022 to January 2023. The research was carried out using a factorial randomized block design 2 factorial with three replications. The first factor consists of three levels: T1 (without topping), T2 (topping), and T3 (topping + organic fertilizer). The second factor consists of three levels as well: V1 (Anjasmoro), V2 (Wilis F1), and V3 (Grobogan). The results showed that the topping technique and the addition of organic fertilizer significantly affected  productive branch quantity, as well as the number of harvested pods and filled pods. The individual treatment of soybean varieties had a significant effect on the observation variable of flowering age and thousand-grain weight. Furthermore, there is a significant interaction between pruning treatment and variety on seed weight per plot and seed weight per ha-1.en-US
dc.descriptionPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh teknik topping (pemangkasan pucuk) dan penambahan pupuk organik terhadap respon produksi kedelai pada fase generatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Sei Mencirim, Sunggal, Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara pada bulan Oktober 2022 hingga Januari 2023. Penelitian dilakukan dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) 2 faktorial dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah 3 taraf teknik topping yaitu T1 (tidak ada topping), T2 (ada topping), dan T3 (ada topping + pupuk organik). Faktor kedua adalah 3 taraf varietas kedelai yaitu V1 (Anjasmoro), V2 (Wilis F1), V3 (Grobogan). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan bahwa penggunaan teknik topping dan pemberian pupuk organik memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap jumlah cabang produktif dan juga berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pengamatan jumlah polong panen dan jumlah polong yang dihasilkan. Dalam hal ini, pengaruh dari perlakuan tunggal varietas sangat signifikan terhadap umur berbunga dan bobot seribu butir. Selain itu, terdapat interaksi yang berpengaruh nyata antara perlakuan pemangkasan dan varietas pada bobot biji per petak dan bobot biji per ha-1.id-ID
