Description
An analysis on the efficiency in ginger production on two farming system at Cugenang distric, West Java.The efficiency analysis of ginger production was conducted by using survey method at Cugenang distric. Samples were drawn by purposive methods, and Crob-Douglass production’s fungtion was using for analyse the relationship between yield and production factors. The results showed that the monoculture system have been used in a large scale of areal (0.1 – 4 ha), and the mixed farming system ussualy used in minimum scale (0.007 – 0.08 ha) by the farmer. Number of plants per ha could be expanded for about 1% to increase yield for about 0.84%. The extensification of ginger farm at this distric could not be recommended while bacterial wilt desease remain as a limiting factor.
