Katakunci :kakao, mutubiji, embrio somatik | en_US |
dc.description.sponsorship | Abstract As many as 15.15 million cocoa seedlings from somatic embryo has been distributed for cocoa rejuvenation program in South Sulawesi. The program's aim is replacing the old / broken plants with a new plant. It is assumed that those rejuvenation plantshas become productive in 2015, so this study aimed to obtain the performance information data of quality (physical and chemical) of cocoa beans from somatic embryo. The study was conducted in May-August 2015 by taking samples of cocoa in Bone, Soppeng, Wajo and Luwu which is the center of the development of cocoa and rejuvenation a5ea in South $ulawesi. Result showedsix out of a total of twelve samples are in the category ofAA (<85 number of seeds per 100 grams) by SNI. The highest seed weight (wet basis) of 3.69 grams and the highest fat content (40.86%) was obtained on a sample of Luwu five yearsoldplants. The lowest total acid content (2.82 | en_US |
