Nutrient absorption of clove seedling under several shading and Mixtalol growth regulatorThe nutrient uptake by clove seedling on some shading and plant growth regulator mixtalol were investigated at Cimanggu Experimental Garden of Bogor Spice and Medicinal Crops Research Institute. A split plot design with three replications was used. The main plot contained four level shading 10, 25, 50, and 75 percent, with four levels concentration of Mixtalol 0, 1, 2, and 3 ppm.The result showed that nutrient uptake N, P, K, Mg, Fe was influenced by shading. The fifty percent of shading represented optimum milliew to obtain nutrient uptake of N, P, K, Mg, and Fe respectifely. Nutrient uptake per clove seedling 72,62 mg N; 7,15 mg P; 69,57 mg K; 15,12 mg Mg, and 12,48 mg Fe, respectively increased 103,26%, 80,48%, 57,43%, 53,06%, and 59,30% higher than without shading. Application 1 ppm plant growth regulator mixtalol on clove seedling would be obtained nutrient uptake of N, P, K, Mg, and Fe respectively 10,76%, 19,57%, 18,41%, 12,42%, and 2,31% higher than without Mixtalol
