Abstract
To assemble zalacca varieties according to consumer idiotype the selection is determined by the main character desired by the consumer desires. The purpose of this study is to conduct multiple selection zalacca accession by weight of fruit and some fruit quality characters. The study was conducted from January 2008-December 2009 Seed Farms is located in Bintan. Riau Islands Province. Plant material used is local zalacca population of Java. Bali Salak. Pondoh zalacca and some hybrids derived from crosses between the elders of the zalacca Pondoh. Sugar zalacca and zalacca Bali. The design of the experiment using a randomized block design with 28 treatments (28 accessions zalacca) with three replications. The result showed five accessions selected based on fruit weight and fruit quality by 6 characters accession numbers are 48, 257, 541, 108, 524. Superior quality of the fruit of five selected accessions namely fruit weight, fruit flesh and tss weights so as to meet the quality standards for export of fruits. Five accessions selected has the potential to be released into new varieties zalacca, so it can be developed to support the development of fruits in Indonesia.
