Abstract
Effect of lime and rock phosphate application on grGwth and yield of cassava on
dry land. An experiment was conducted at farmers field in Batu Mulia, South Kalimantan
from January to August 1990. The experimental design used was Randomized
Completely Block Design with three replications. Lime was used as factor consisted
of 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 t1ha, while rock phosphate as second factor consisted of 0, 45,
90 and 135 kg P20slha. Urea was applied 90 kg N/ha and potassium Chloride 60 kg
K20/ha as a basal fertilizer. Adhira-IV variety was planted in the distance of 80 x 100
cm. The results showed that the effect of lime and rock phosphate very significant on
increasing of yield. The highest yield of 35,0 t cassava tuberl ha at combination of 1.5
t lime/ha and 135 kg P20s/ha.
