Description
The possibility of clove developing on podsolic type of soil in Bone-bone.Clove is one the potential export commoditiesof non oil and gas sector. A research has been conducted, in an effort to develop the commodity based on the aspects of climate and soil condition, at the village of Bungadidi sub district Bone-bone South Sulawesi. The research results revealed that the area mentioned has fairly compatible climate and soil condition for developing the clove, i.e. podsolic type of soil, at altitude of 50 m to 200 m, low contents of N, P2O5, low to medium content of C organic, pH 4.48, average temperature of 26.90C, annual rain fall 3139 mm, with 178 rainy days and 82% relative humidity.
