Abstract
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Adopsi Peternak terhadap Inovasi Ayam Kampung Unggul Balitbangtan (KUB) di Kabupaten Kampar dan tingkat penerapan peternak dalam mengadopsi inovasi Ayam KUB. Penelitian berlangsung selama satu tahun yaitu dari Juli 2019 sampai Juli 2020. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan cara sensus yaitu seluruh peternak yang mengusahakan Ayam KUB yang berjumlah 50 peternak di Kabupaten Kampar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat adopsi peternak Ayam KUB rendah dimana sebagian besar peternak memilih tidak melanjutkan untuk menerapkan atau mengadopsi usaha Ayam KUB dan faktor karakteristik inovasi Ayam KUB memiliki korelasi dan signifikansi yang sangat lemah terhadap tingkat adopsi inovasi Ayam KUB di Kabupaten Kampar.

ABSTRACT
This study aimed to determine the adoption of breeders to the innovative superior native chicken (KUB) Balitbangtan in Kampar Regency and the level of adoption of breeders in adopting the KUB chicken innovation. The research for one year, from July 2019 to July 2020. The research sample was taken by means of a census, namely all breeders who cultivated KUB chickens, totaling 50 breeders in Kampar Regency, were the samples in this study. The results showed that the adoption rate of KUB Chicken breeders was low. Most of the breeders didn’t chose continue to implement or adopt the KUB Chicken and the KUB Chicken innovation characteristic factors had a very weak correlation and significance relationship to the KUB Chicken innovation adoption rate in Kampar Regency.
